Why US Retailers and Pet Brands Are Sourcing Himalayan Dog Chews Direct From Nepal

The Growing Global Demand for Natural Pet Treats

The North American pet treat industry is experiencing an unprecedented shift toward single-ingredient, clean-label products. US pet owners are increasingly rejecting artificial treats in favor of authentic Himalayan yak cheese chews.

Benefits of Direct Factory Wholesale Sourcing

By eliminating middleman brokers and establishing direct supply partnerships with Nepal-based manufacturers like Petkaaya, US pet brands and importers unlock distinct commercial advantages:

• Factory Direct Margins: Save 35% to 50% compared to local distributor markup rates.

• Full Regulatory Compliance: Access FDA-registered facilities with USDA-compliant Veterinary Health Certificates.

• Turnkey Private Labeling: Custom retail packaging, branded stand-up pouches, custom UPC-A barcodes, and FNSKU labeling for Amazon FBA.

• DDP Door-to-Door Freight: Seamless air cargo and sea container logistics delivered straight to US warehouses.

Sustaining Himalayan Farming Communities

Sourcing Himalayan dog chews directly from Nepal directly empowers over 5,000 smallholder dairy farmers in eastern and central mountain districts. Every batch supports fair wages, rural economic stability, and centuries-old Himalayan dairy traditions.
